Join Us for an Exciting New Chapter at Gripps Farm

Gripps Farm is a family-run business with a passion for great food, warm hospitality, and creating memorable experiences for visitors. As part of our exciting expansion, we are opening a brand-new café as part of our growing farm attraction and visitor destination.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Waiters and Waitresses to join our team and help deliver exceptional service to every visitor.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting new café from launch, working in a welcoming environment where quality food, local produce, and outstanding customer service are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all customers.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organised, and ready for guests.
  • Assist customers with menu choices and answer questions about food and drink offerings.
  • Process payments and operate the till system when required.
  • Support the wider café team during busy service periods.
  • Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer care throughout the café.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people.
  • Is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
  • Has previous hospitality, café, restaurant, retail, or customer-facing experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Is friendly, reliable, and professional in their approach.
  • Works well as part of a team.
  • Can remain calm and efficient during busy periods.
  • Is flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
