Full job description

Beech Hill Country House is renowned for exceptional service, beautiful surroundings and high standards throughout our hotel.

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our housekeeping team and help ensure our public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

If you take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working as part of a friendly team, we'd love to hear from you.

Working across the hotel, you will be responsible for ensuring our public areas, guest facilities and staff areas are clean, hygienic and welcoming at all times.

Duties will include:

  • Hoovering carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Cleaning and sanitising public and staff toilets
  • Dusting furniture, fixtures and fittings
  • Cleaning glass, mirrors and touch points
  • Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
  • Maintaining reception, corridors, staircases and communal areas
  • Using commercial and industrial cleaning equipment safely
  • Reporting maintenance issues and health & safety concerns
  • Supporting the wider housekeeping team during busy periods

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience (preferred)
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards
  • Is reliable, trustworthy and punctual
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Has a positive, can-do attitude
  • Is flexible and able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
  • Is physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual cleaning duties

Experience within a hotel or hospitality environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
