Our well-established client in Peterhead has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper and admin assistant to join their growing family business on a part-time basis. As the business grows, there may be an opportunity to work more hours.

This role will offer home working for the right candidate however, you must be based locally to meet with the management team regularly.

Hours: Monday and Thursday – 5 hours per day. (This can be flexible to suit the right candidate)

Duties:-


  • All accounts duties on Xero Accounting software
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the business
  • Creating invoices from Xero to issue to suppliers
  • Submitting of VAT returns and Corporate Tax returns
  • Responding to emails and enquiries as required
  • Scheduling of payments and bank reconciliations
Requirements:-
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounts role
  • Proficient in using Xero
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
