Start Date: September 2026 (Earlier starts available)

Are you energetic, confident, and passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives?

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Activity Leaders to join our amazing wraparound childcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates, college leavers, university students, or anyone looking to build experience working with children in a fun, rewarding environment

We have a range of roles available, including:

  • Setting Managers (£18 - 20ph)
  • Activity Leaders (£13 - £15ph)
  • After School Sports Club Leaders (£15-£20ph)

Regardless of the role, you'll help create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience for primary-aged children before and after school. Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in organising activities, encouraging participation, and ensuring every child feels welcome, supported, and valued.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and supervising fun activities, games, and creative sessions
  • Building positive relationships with children and encouraging their confidence
  • Ensuring children are safe, happy, and engaged throughout each session
  • Supporting children's social development and wellbeing
  • Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
  • Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
  • Leading a team (setting manager roles only)
  • Communicating with parents
  • Being a positive role model for the children in your care

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and approachable
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Responsible, trustworthy, and able to take initiative
  • Confident in communicating with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Able to create a fun and inclusive environment
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of safeguarding and child welfare

Experience
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. This could include:

  • Holiday camps or activity programmes
  • Youth groups or community organisations
  • Sports coaching
  • Children's clubs or after-school programmes
  • Volunteering with children
  • Teaching assistant or childcare experience

If you have the right attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

Why Join Us?
We believe that if our team enjoys coming to work, the children will have a better experience too.

You'll be joining a friendly, supportive, and established team where people genuinely enjoy working together. We have very low staff turnover, with many team members returning year after year because of the positive culture we've built. We work hard, support one another, and make sure we have fun along the way.

What makes us different?

  • A welcoming and supportive team environment
  • Managers who value your ideas and help you develop your skills (many examples of development roles and progressions)
  • A workplace built on mutual respect, trust, and teamwork
  • The opportunity to make a real difference to children's lives every day
  • Valuable experience for careers in education, childcare, psychology, youth work, sports coaching, and related fields
  • Ongoing training and support, including safeguarding and child development
  • A fun, active role where no two days are the same

We're looking for people who bring energy, positivity, and enthusiasm. In return, you'll join a team that appreciates your contribution, supports your development, and makes coming to work something to look forward to.
