Full job description

We are looking to recruit live in pet sitters who move into owner’s homes for a minimum of a week at a time to care for their pets and home whilst they are away. Our pet sitters are responsible for ensuring that customers' pet(s) are kept happy, following their own routine, in their own surroundings. This includes walking, feeding, playing and enrichment as well providing lots of TLC! The property and pets will never be left alone for more than 4 hours in the day and never in the dark.

The role would suit someone who:

  • Is retired and looking for an additional income stream.
  • Who can work remotely or whose work is flexible or part-time.
  • Mature students studying or completing majority online courses.
  • Is working in a school setting with availability throughout school holidays.
  • Is a pet sitter/walker who is looking for an additional income.
  • Is looking to embark on a career in pet sitting.

Requirements

  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Passionate about animals and their welfare.
  • Confident and professional.
  • Experience caring for animals, either as a pet owner or working with them for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Access to a mobile phone and email.
  • Access to a vehicle is preferable.
  • Availability and time to commit to future jobs (especially during school holidays).
  • Must be able to cover any or all of these areas - North London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.
