Part-Time Gardener – Simon Parry Landscaping & Gardening

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working and enthusiastic part-time gardener to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly, professional team delivering high-quality garden maintenance and landscaping services across South Birmingham.

About the Role

You will be working as part of a team maintaining a variety of domestic gardens to a high standard. The role involves a mix of regular maintenance and seasonal tasks, with a strong focus on attention to detail and pride in your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lawn mowing, edging and strimming
  • Hedge cutting and pruning
  • Weeding and general border maintenance
  • Use of both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Leaf clearing and seasonal tidy-ups
  • Maintaining a clean and professional finish on every job
  • Supporting the team with general garden and landscaping tasks

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine drive and passion for gardening
  • Previous experience in gardening or landscaping (basic experience essential)
  • Confident using power tools (mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters) and hand tools
  • Ability to identify common plants and weeds
  • Good attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Happy working outdoors in all weather
  • Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
