With this exciting growth, we are looking for passionate, energetic and caring Level 2 & Level 3 practitioners to join our team in both our Baby Room (0–1 years) and our brand-new Rising 1s Room (1–2 years).

If you love working with babies, enjoy being part of a supportive team, and want to work somewhere that truly values its staff — we would love to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a warm, safe and stimulating environment where children feel secure, happy and inspired to learn.

You will work alongside experienced staff and management to support children’s development, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a positive, fun nursery atmosphere.

We are proud of our strong curriculum, supportive team culture, and commitment to high-quality care — and we want staff who are excited to grow with us.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Planning fun, engaging activities including sensory play, messy play and tuff trays
  • Observing children and maintaining development records and learning journeys
  • Supporting children’s routines including feeding, sleep, and self-care
  • Building strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Working as part of a positive, supportive nursery team
  • Helping maintain a clean, safe, high-quality environment
  • Contributing ideas and creativity to enhance children’s experiences

What We’re Looking For

We are searching for staff who are:

  • Warm, caring, enthusiastic and reliable
  • Passionate about working with babies and young children
  • Great team players with a positive attitude
  • Confident communicators with parents and colleagues
  • Motivated to learn, develop and progress in their career

✔ Essential Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • 1–2 years nursery/childcare experience
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and child development
  • Ability to observe, assess and support children’s progress
  • Right to work in the UK

✔ Desirable (but not essential)

  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Food Hygiene or Safeguarding training
  • DBS on the update service
  • Experience working with babies

(We provide training and ongoing coaching for all staff.)

What We Offer

  • A role in our exciting new Baby Town building
  • Supportive, friendly management team
  • Ongoing professional development and training (NDNA, Noodle Now & in-house training)
  • Staff discounts at Little Hooligans Soft Play (food, entry & parties)
  • Company pension
  • Childcare support
  • Staff events and team celebrations
  • A nursery where you are respected, supported and encouraged to enjoy your job

Working Hours

  • Full-time or part-time positions available
  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shifts

Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to join a nursery during an exciting period of growth.
You won’t just be filling a role — you’ll be helping shape our new Baby Town environment and making a real difference in children’s earliest experiences.
