Full job description

At NHS Property Services, we believe our people are our greatest asset. That’s why we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Our People Strategy – Get, Grow and Keep Great People – is all about building a values-driven culture where colleagues and customers are at the heart of everything we do.

About the opportunity

We have multiple Domestic Assistant roles available across all of our regions, specifically:

London

South West & East

North West & East

Midlands West & East

These roles involve delivering cleaning and support services in line with our standards, helping to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming environments for patients, visitors and colleagues.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred, however full training will be provided for the successful candidate, along with any required checks such as DBS.

We are also hiring for customer facing receptionist, catering and general assistant positions, so please let us know if you'd be interested in any of these other areas.

We recognise that one size doesn’t fit all. Depending on the role and location, there may be options for you to work:

  • On-site
  • On the move / mobile across locations
  • A combination of both

When registering your interest, please let us know what works best for you and your preferred working hours.

What we offer

As part of NHS Property Services, you’ll benefit from:

  • Generous annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy more
  • Training and development opportunities to help you grow your career
  • Pension contributions
  • Flexible benefits, including retail discounts and Cycle to Work scheme
  • Colleague Assistance Programme for support across all areas of life

We’re also proud to be an organisation with a purpose — giving back to the NHS, supporting our charity partners, and working towards becoming net zero carbon by 2050.

We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and will make reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and in the workplace.
