Full job description

We are a successful family-run business that has grown from a single location to six thriving cafés in just six years. With a bustling bakery production site in Wimbledon we also operate as a busy wholesale bakery supplying cafes across London seven days a week. We're looking for a passionate and skilled Head of Lamination to join our growing team of Lamination Legends!

The Head of Lamination is responsible for leading and managing all lamination operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role oversees production planning, process optimisation, equipment performance, quality standards, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives while meeting customer requirements and production targets. The role is very hands-on, working within the team to ensure production deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all day-to-day lamination operations to achieve production schedules and delivery commitments
  • Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lamination processes.
  • Monitor machine performance, productivity, waste, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Lead troubleshooting of process and equipment issues to minimise production interruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company policies.
  • Analyse production data and prepare reports on output, efficiency, quality, and costs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
  • To be passionate about the products you're producing and have a creative flair
  • Lead, coach, train, and support staff.
  • Support new product development

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in lamination or manufacturing operations, with at least 1 years in a leadership role.

Job Details:
