Parallel - Waiter

Pay: Hourly rate £12.71 + £4.90–£5.20 per hour in Tronc (on average)

In addition to your standard hourly wage, you'll receive a share of Tronc, of which 100% is distributed to the team.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone with a passion for food and drink, a natural flair for hospitality, and a drive to grow and develop. You’ll ideally have experience in a busy, fast-paced restaurant, with strong communication and service skills, and a real team-first mentality. You’re someone who can read the room, create memorable moments, and bring positive energy to every interaction. If you have some cocktail or wine knowledge—great. If not, we’ll teach you. What matters most is your attitude, your attention to detail, and your commitment to delivering consistently excellent guest experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating memorable, personal experiences for every guest who walks through the door

  • Delivering confident, efficient service during high-volume shifts

  • Supporting your teammates across the floor, bar, and pass to keep service running smoothly

  • Talking confidently about food and drinks, and offering thoughtful recommendations

  • Maintaining an eye for detail, whether it’s table settings, pacing of service, or reading a guest’s mood

  • Staying curious and engaged, learning about new menu items, wines, and cocktails

  • Representing the Parallel vibe: warm, sharp, and effortlessly attentive

You’re a natural host, calm under pressure, fast on your feet, and always tuned into the guest experience. You love great food, are curious about drinks, and bring an infectious enthusiasm to your team.
