About us and the role
Peacock Pharmacy is a modern, fast-growing community pharmacy focused on delivering excellent patient care and innovative pharmacy services. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive team environment where staff are valued, developed, and encouraged to grow professionally.
We are looking for a motivated, friendly, and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our expanding team.

Role Responsibilities

Your duties may include:
Assisting patients with prescriptions and over-the-counter enquiries
Supporting the dispensary team with prescription workflow
Stock management and date checking
Serving customers and handling till transactions
Supporting NHS and private services
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy
Delivering excellent customer service at all times
Assisting pharmacists and dispensers with day-to-day operations

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, professional, and approachable
Organised and able to work in a busy environment
A strong team player with good communication skills
Keen to learn and develop within pharmacy
Reliable with good attention to detail

Preferred (but not essential)
Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience
Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification
NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services qualification
Experience using PMR systems
Training can be provided for the right candidate.
