HR Officer (with Health & Safety Focus)
Part-Time 3 days per week
18 months fixed-term contract

Are you an HR professional with a passion for Health & Safety?

Do you thrive in a role where you can make a real impact on employee wellbeing, organisational culture, and operational excellence?

We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Officer to join our People Services team—someone who can combine strong HR expertise with a confident, practical approach to Health & Safety leadership.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality, professional HR service within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

You will provide expert HR advice across a wide range of areas while acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day Health & Safety guidance, ensuring best practice and compliance are embedded across the organisation.

You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement, shaping HR processes, policies and initiatives that support both people and performance.

This post is Welsh essential; applicants must demonstrate Welsh language speaking skills at a minimum of B2 level.

What You Will Be Doing

- Delivering professional HR advice in line with legislation and best practice
- Acting as a specialist advisor on Health & Safety matters, supporting managers and ensuring compliance
- Supporting recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and wellbeing initiatives
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Producing HR reports and insights to support decision-making
- Supporting training delivery across HR and Health & Safety topics

Salary and Benefits:

A salary of £32,597 - £34,434, pro rata, per annum, minimum 25 days’ holiday, rising to 30 days plus public holidays, generous local government pension scheme, great flexible working arrangements and career development opportunities.

Byddwch yn rhoi cyngor arbenigol ar AD ar draws ystod eang o feysydd, ac yn bwynt cyswllt allweddol ar gyfer canllawiau Iechyd a Diogelwch o ddydd i ddydd, gan sicrhau bod arfer gorau a chydymffurfiaeth wedi'u hymgorffori ym mhob peth a wneir ar draws y sefydliad.

Hefyd byddwch yn cyfrannu at welliant parhaus, gan lunio prosesau, polisïau a mentrau AD sy'n cynorthwyo pobl a pherfformiad.

Mae’r swydd hon yn hanfodol Gymraeg; rhaid i ymgeiswyr allu dangos sgiliau siarad Cymraeg ar lefel B2 o leiaf.

Beth Fyddwch yn ei Wneud

- Rhoi cyngor AD proffesiynol yn unol â deddfwriaeth ac arfer gorau.
- Bod yn ymgynghorydd arbenigol ar faterion Iechyd a Diogelwch, cynorthwyo rheolwyr, a sicrhau cydymffurfiaeth.
- Cynorthwyo’r gwaith o recriwtio, rheoli perfformiad, cysylltiadau gweithwyr, a mentrau llesiant.
- Datblygu a gweithredu polisïau a gweithdrefnau Adnoddau Dynol.
- Llunio adroddiadau a mewnwelediad ar faterion AD i lywio gwneud penderfyniadau.
- Cynorthwyo’r gwaith o gyflwyno hyfforddiant ar draws pynciau AD ac Iechyd a Diogelwch.
