Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Claims Handler to join our busy team based in Cirencester. This role will primarily focus on the handling claims and administration arising from our Pet department.

Although previous insurance experience is desirable, full training will be provided. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Claims Handling (Primary Duties):

• Assisting in the assessment of Pet Insurance claims
• Responding to queries and providing claim updates to customers by phone and email
• Preparing and sending claim correspondence
• General administration to support the claims process

Key Skills and Attributes Required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A calm, empathetic and professional telephone manner
• Accurate keyboard and administrative skills
• Previous Veterinary Experience is desirable
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• A good sense of humour and team spirit

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
