Content & Social Media Manager

Glasgow | Full Time | 40 Hours | Up to £32,000 DOE

Buck’s Bar Group is looking for a creative and driven Content & Social Media Manager to look after the social media for Buck’s Bar, Thundercat and Thunderdog.

We are looking for someone who understands what works on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook and, most importantly, knows how to create good content from start to finish.

You will need to be confident filming, cutting and editing videos, coming up with fresh ideas and presenting a clear content plan each week.

This is a hands-on role. You will spend time in our venues creating content, working with our teams and showing the personality behind each of our brands.

What the role involves

  • Creating content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Filming, cutting and editing short-form videos.
  • Bringing fresh ideas to the business each week.
  • Presenting weekly content plans and campaign ideas.
  • Visiting our venues to capture food, drinks, events and team content.
  • Supporting menu launches, promotions and key events.
  • Keeping up with trends while making sure the content still feels like us.
  • Reviewing performance and using the results to improve future content.
  • Managing content across several brands and locations.

What we are looking for

  • Strong video filming and editing skills.
  • Experience using CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar.
  • A good eye for photography and visual content.
  • Someone creative, organised and able to work independently.
  • Confidence working with different teams in busy hospitality venues.
  • Plenty of drive, personality and fresh ideas.
  • A portfolio or examples of previous work.

You may be a recent graduate, already working in content or building your own portfolio. Experience is helpful, but creativity, attitude and ability are what matter most to us.

Location

This is not a remote or work-from-home role.

You will work from our Glasgow Head Office and across our Glasgow venues, with regular travel to Edinburgh and St Andrews. All business travel is paid.

Salary and benefits

  • Up to £32,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • 40-hour contract.
  • Paid business travel.
  • Staff discount across all Buck’s Bar Group venues.
  • Company equipment provided.
  • The chance to have a real say in how our brands look and sound online.

How to apply

Please send us your CV along with a portfolio, showreel or links to three pieces of content you are proud of.

For this role, we are just as interested in what you can create as what is written on your CV.

Pay: £32,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Discounted or free food
  • Employee discount

Work Location: In person
