Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified and experienced Sheetfed Litho Printer to join our great team in Normanton and operate our brand-new Komori G37 LED UV 5-colour press. An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.

Working Hours: Average 39 hours a week. 12-hour shifts, rotating days & nights. 06.00am - 18.00pm & 18.00pm - 06.00am, includes a 30-minute paid break.

Shift pattern: 3 weeks working 3 shifts & 1 week working 4 shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate the Komori G37 5-colour LED UV press
  • Manage colour consistency, ink control, and registration to ISO standards
  • Handle make-readies, routine maintenance, and work with LED UV/UV inks, varnishes, and aqueous coatings
  • Ensure maximum potential output is achieved while ensuring exceptional quality standards
  • Communicate maintenance/breakdown requirements to Production Manager
  • Liaise with senior management and team members as required
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace
  • Adhere to all Health &, Safety, Environmental & Company policies, and procedures

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a sheetfed UV Litho Printer. Experience on a Heidelberg, MAN Roland, or Mitsubishi press.
  • Experience with Komori G37 or G40 is highly desirable
  • Good knowledge of LED UV systems, inks, varnishes, and coatings
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing workload and schedules
  • Able to work both independently and part of a team
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • Good housekeeping
  • Adhere to all Health &, Safety, Environmental & Company policies, and procedures

Salary: £38,800 per annum
