HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT

Private Household | Henfield, West Sussex

Monday – Friday | 09:00 – 17:00

Salary: £33,000 per annum

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join a busy private HNW family household in Henfield, West Sussex.

Working alongside our experienced Head Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining high-end luxury standards throughout the home, ensuring it remains clean, organised and beautifully presented at all times.

This position would suit someone who takes the upmost pride in their finishing standards, has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a small household team.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience essential; training will also be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining five-star standards of cleanliness throughout, ensuring the property is immaculately organised, presented and guest-ready at all times
  • Cleaning and caring for bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, gym studio, outdoor pool area, outhouses, communal and external spaces
  • Dusting, polishing and caring for furniture, fixtures and fittings
  • Making beds and changing bed linen
  • Laundry duties, including washing, ironing and wardrobe organisation
  • Interior window cleaning
  • Helping prepare settings for personal and/or business events held at the property and at our external company locations
  • Monitoring household supplies and reporting stock requirements
  • Supporting with deep cleaning projects when required
  • Cleaning of pet litters and daily replenish of their foods
  • Liaising with external companies, i.e. dry cleaners, postal deliveries etc

  • Able to work efficiently and independently
  • Able to provide ADHOC flexibility of working hours to accommodate where necessary

  • Full UK driving licence and own transport required due to the rural location
