Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, be adept at managing schedules, and handle a variety of clerical tasks with professionalism and discretion. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and effective communication are essential.

Duties

  • Manage and maintain the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Prepare and organise documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office
  • Handle correspondence via email, phone calls, and written communication with professionalism and courtesy
  • Assist with data entry tasks ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Utilise Xero for basic financial record keeping and expense management
  • Organise meetings, including booking venues and preparing agendas
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organising office supplies
  • Liaise with internal teams and external contacts on behalf of the Managing Director
  • Ensure effective phone etiquette when communicating with clients, partners, and staff

Experience

  • Proven administrative experience in an office environment or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting software is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent typing speed and data entry skills for accurate record keeping
  • Previous clerical experience including filing, document management, and office organisation
  • Familiarity with office procedures and good phone etiquette is essential

This position requires a professional individual who is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of multitasking efficiently. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
