Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, be adept at managing schedules, and handle a variety of clerical tasks with professionalism and discretion. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and effective communication are essential.
Duties
- Manage and maintain the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Prepare and organise documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office
- Handle correspondence via email, phone calls, and written communication with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with data entry tasks ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Utilise Xero for basic financial record keeping and expense management
- Organise meetings, including booking venues and preparing agendas
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organising office supplies
- Liaise with internal teams and external contacts on behalf of the Managing Director
- Ensure effective phone etiquette when communicating with clients, partners, and staff
Experience
- Proven administrative experience in an office environment or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent typing speed and data entry skills for accurate record keeping
- Previous clerical experience including filing, document management, and office organisation
- Familiarity with office procedures and good phone etiquette is essential
This position requires a professional individual who is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of multitasking efficiently. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
