Job Advertisement: Assistant Greenkeeper
Location: Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent

About Us:
Trentham Park Golf Club offers a premier golfing experience, renowned for its outstanding course and impeccable service. We are committed to maintaining our course to the highest possible standards, providing an exceptional environment for both members and visitors.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Greenkeeper to join our dedicated grounds team. In this role, you will play an integral part in maintaining and enhancing the course, ensuring it is in pristine condition year-round. You will work closely with the team to deliver top-tier golfing services and contribute to the ongoing development of the course.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the daily maintenance of all course areas, including tees, greens, fairways, and roughs

· Operate and maintain turf management equipment to ensure optimal performance

· Support in irrigation management, pest control, and fertilization programs

· Contribute to seasonal projects and course renovations as required

· Uphold health and safety standards at all times

· Participate in the weekend morning rota to ensure the course is ready for play

Qualifications & Skills:

· Minimum of Level 2 in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent)

· Previous experience in golf course maintenance or a similar turf management role preferred

· Solid understanding of turf management practices and equipment operation

· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
