The permanent full-time post will be in the Pollution Control & Public Health Team based in the Guildhall, but the main working role will be out in the field, this includes late night work and weekend working on an out of hours rota basis.

The Pest Control/Animal Warden Officer will travel to various premises within Swansea to inspect the premises, report on pest levels and organise/undertake treatment programs. In addition, they will carry out duties associated with the control of dogs and other straying animals.

Any academic or practical experience in the field of Pest Control and dealing with animals would be an advantage.
