At CPC, we are a growing business who are dedicated to providing first class pest control services to our clients. We pride ourselves on our customer service, environmental responsibility, and effective pest management strategies. As we expand our team, we are looking for a skilled Pest Control Technician to join us in our mission to create pest-free environments for commercial and domestic customers.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pest control services for domestic and commercial properties. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment plans based off the severity.
- Apply pesticides and other control measures in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide clients with information on pest prevention and control methods, ensuring they understand the services provided.
- Maintain accurate records of services completed, including details of treatments applied and recommendations given.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and follow up on service requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about new pest control products, techniques, and regulations to provide the best service possible.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while performing duties in various environments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
- A willingness to learn about pest biology, behaviour, and control methods is essential.
- Must be able to pass background checks (DBS) and any necessary certifications related to pest control practices.
