Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pest control services for domestic and commercial properties. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment plans based off the severity.
• Apply pesticides and other control measures in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide clients with information on pest prevention and control methods, ensuring they understand the services provided.
• Maintain accurate records of services completed, including details of treatments applied and recommendations given.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and follow up on service requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about new pest control products, techniques, and regulations to provide the best service possible.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while performing duties in various environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
• A willingness to learn about pest biology, behaviour, and control methods is essential.
• Must be able to pass background checks (DBS) and any necessary certifications related to pest control practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
