Job Title: Sales Surveyor – Pest Control

Department: Sales
Reports to: Head of Sales- North
Location: Leicester, Coventry & Rugby.
Salary: £29,000 + Commission

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Surveyor in Pest Control to drive growth, build strong client relationships, and secure new business opportunities within commercial, residential, and historical property sectors. In this role, you will manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying new opportunities and conducting initial surveys to presenting tailored pest management solutions, while ensuring adherence to industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Site Surveys and Assessments:
  • Visit client properties to assess pest activity, identify potential risks, and recommend the most effective pest control measures. Conducting these surveys will also involve identifying new sales opportunities and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Tailored Pest Management Strategies:

Develop and propose bespoke pest management strategies tailored to client needs. This includes preventive measures, treatment recommendations, and long-term solutions that align with industry best practices.

  • Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary contact for clients, offering expert advice and maintaining strong, professional relationships. Produce clear, detailed reports and actionable recommendations after each survey.Take ownership of sales goals by successfully converting leads into new business and nurturing existing accounts. Drive revenue growth while identifying new opportunities in the marketplace.Identify opportunities to expand Safeguard’s client base and service offerings through proactive outreach, attending networking events, and keeping up to date with industry trends.About You:

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a proven ability to drive sales growth. As an effective communicator, you will be confident in both face-to-face interactions and written communication, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous sales or field sales experience (ideally within pest control, facilities management, or related industries)
  • RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management or similar qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capability to manage a flexible, remote working schedule
  • Self-driven, with a focus on achieving sales targets and business development
  • Proficiency in IT (email, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
  • Full UK driving license

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with key account management
