About The Role:
Working Days; Monday - Friday, 0630-1430 week one, 1400-2200hr week two
As a caretaker, you will keep an eye on energy usage and provide meter readings. You will regularly check the fire system and carry out monthly fire door checks. You will also note and report any repair needs through the helpdesk. Plus, you will handle minor maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, unblocking drains, and minor joinery. It’s a hands-on role that keeps everything running smoothly and safely.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Be responsible for monitoring energy usage and supplying meter readings.
- Check the operation of the fire system on a regular basis, as directed by the PPM system.
- Carry out monthly fire door checks as part of the PPM schedule.
- Be responsible for noting and reporting repairs requirements through the helpdesk.
- Undertake minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs and strips, fuses, plugs, unblocking drains, minor joinery etc).
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
- IOSH Certificate would be desirable.
- Certification of Legionella Legislation awareness
- IT Literate, MS Office/competent in the use of Excel, Power point/Smartphones/Helpdesk.
