We are seeking a motivated and versatile Handyperson/Gardener to join our dynamic team. We are offering a minimum of 3 days a week to full time , either as a self-employed person or as part of company, so salary will reflect this. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine practical maintenance skills with horticultural expertise, ensuring the upkeep and beautification of indoor and outdoor spaces. You will be responsible for helping to maintain gardens, landscapes, and grounds, as well as performing general repairs and upkeep around the property. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create welcoming, well-maintained environments that enhance the overall aesthetic and safety of our premises.

Duties

Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Be able to prepare surfaces for painting and paint indoors and outside.
Operate a fork -lift and tractor safely.
Maintain gardens and landscaped areas by trimming, pruning, planting, watering, and fertilizing plants, as directed by Gardener.
Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and plant health.
Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, weeding beds, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces tidy and attractive.
Perform groundskeeping duties including clearing debris, maintaining pathways, and ensuring outdoor safety standards are met.
Assist with growing plants from seeds or cuttings, supporting horticultural projects and plant health monitoring
Respond promptly to repair requests or maintenance issues around the property to ensure continuous operations

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment with safety awareness.
Strong knowledge of gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance practices
Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting for efficient watering solutions
Growing experience including planting, pruning, fertilizing, pest control, and plant health management
Ability to perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and debris removal
Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to property upkeep.
