The Role

As a Pest Control Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out inspections, treatments, proofing recommendations and preventative pest management across a variety of residential and commercial properties.

You'll work independently throughout the day, representing MA Pest Control and delivering the high standard of service our customers have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out pest inspections, treatments and monitoring visits.
  • Identify pest activity and recommend effective treatment and proofing solutions.
  • Complete digital treatment reports accurately using a company tablet.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Manage your daily schedule efficiently and communicate effectively with the office.
  • Maintain company vehicle, equipment and treatment stock.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and industry best practices.
  • Participate in evening and weekend emergency call-outs when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management (or equivalent).
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional, trustworthy and reliable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

Desirable

  • Previous pest control experience.
  • Experience working within residential and commercial environments.
  • Knowledge of proofing and integrated pest management (IPM).
