Full job description

Job Title: Pest Control Technician

Marsh and Thompson Ltd, trading as "The Pest Company".

The includes rodents, insects and bird work. Work patterns are typically 9 - 5, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement effective pest control strategies and treatment plans
- Apply insecticides and other pest control products in a safe and responsible manner
- Seal off entry points and prevent future infestations
- Educate customers on pest prevention methods and provide recommendations for maintaining a pest-free environment
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork

Requirements:

- Ideally hold RSPH Level 2 pest control qualification.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to climb ladders, crawl into tight spaces, and lift heavy equipment
- Knowledge of pests, their behaviour, and effective control methods is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

  • pest control: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
