Job Title: Sales Consultant

J T Dove Limited are the leading independent builders merchants covering North East England, The Scottish Borders, Cumbria and Teesside. Operating from our network of 21 branches we offer a comprehensive stock range of timber and building supplies, heating and plumbing materials, as well as kitchens and bathrooms. About the role

Due to internal movement, we have an exciting opening for an ambitious, motivated individual to join the team at our Seahouses branch.

You will provide excellent customer service at all times, working towards set sales targets by selling the full range of products to both retail and trade customers.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, to assist them in developing ongoing working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers. Previous customer service and/or sales experience is advantageous, as well as a proven track record selling and negotiating, both in person and over the phone.

It is essential that you are able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling changing priorities by being adaptable and resilient. You will also need to hold a full UK driving licence.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.
