We are seeking a commercially driven and experienced medical technology sales professional to lead territory development across the North West of England.

This field-based role will focus on winning new business, expanding existing accounts and building strong relationships with clinical and commercial stakeholders across the NHS and private healthcare sectors.

You will manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from initial engagement and product evaluation through to procurement and implementation. Working collaboratively with clinical, technical, marketing and commercial teams, you will play a key role in driving customer adoption, developing the market and delivering revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial customer engagement and product demonstrations through evaluation, negotiation, procurement and implementation.
  • Build strong relationships with cardiologists, cardiac physiologists, service managers, procurement teams and other key decision-makers.
  • Understand customer needs, clinical workflows and operational challenges to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Coordinate customer demonstrations, evaluations and pilot programmes alongside clinical and technical colleagues.
  • Navigate NHS and private-sector procurement processes, including tenders, frameworks and commercial agreements.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline, accurate forecasts and up-to-date CRM records.
  • Develop strategic account plans and identify opportunities to grow business across existing customers.
  • Monitor market developments and competitor activity, sharing insights to support the wider commercial strategy.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Direct sales experience within cardiac diagnostics, cardiac monitoring, wider cardiology or a closely related medical technology field.
  • Experience selling into NHS and private healthcare organisations, with an understanding of their purchasing and procurement processes.
  • A proven track record of managing a geographical sales territory, developing new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, negotiation and account management skills.
  • The ability to communicate clinical and technical information clearly to healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including pipeline management, forecasting and CRM activity.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the North West territory.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience selling or working with Holter monitors, ECG systems or similar cardiac monitoring and diagnostic technologies.
  • Established relationships with cardiology and cardiac physiology departments.
  • Experience introducing new medical technology into established clinical pathways and managing clinical evaluations through to commercial adoption.
