Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

Order Processing: Accurately process online orders for prescription medications and over-the-counter products, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer support via email or phone, answering queries about orders, medications, and health advice (in line with pharmacy guidelines).

Prescription Verification: Review and verify prescriptions submitted online, ensuring they are accurate and meet legal requirements. Communicate with patients or healthcare professionals to resolve any discrepancies.

Medication Dispensing: Collaborate with the pharmacist and pharmacy technicians to ensure medications are correctly dispensed, labeled, and prepared for delivery.

Order Fulfillment: Ensure that all products are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched in a timely manner, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, update product availability on the website, and assist in reordering medications and supplies when necessary.

Compliance and Legal Requirements: Ensure all activities comply with pharmacy regulations, including the proper handling of controlled substances and patient confidentiality (GDPR).

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, prescriptions, and orders in line with company and legal requirements.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other online pharmacy staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and changes in pharmacy regulations to provide accurate and informed assistance to customers.

Experience: Previous experience in an online pharmacy, customer service, or healthcare setting is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Ability to engage with customers online and provide helpful and friendly service.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in order processing, prescription verification, and product dispensing.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with online pharmacy software, order management systems, and other digital tools. Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Confidentiality: Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR), with a commitment to maintaining the privacy of customer information.

Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team while maintaining high standards of individual responsibility.

Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work efficiently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of medications, pharmaceutical terminology, and online pharmacy operation operations.

Training & Development: Opportunity to receive comprehensive training in online pharmacy operations, customer service, and medication management.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09:30 - 17:30.

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good IT skills and confidence using pharmacy systems.
  • Ability to work on-site.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Applicants must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future, as Pharmulous is unable to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this role.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a UK online Pharmacy.
  • Previous experience working with high risk medications such GLP1s (Mounjario and Wegovy).
  • Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or equivalent role.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
