Full job description

We are seeking a motivated, friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

The role is for a Pharmacy Counter Assistant to work in our pharmacy on Ham Parade, Kingston. This is a permanent position and we are seeking candidates looking for a long term position and a career with the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a relatively busy retail pharmacy, a passion for customer care and service. We operate a number of private services so good customer service skills are a must.

Essential requirements:

- Fluent spoken and written English

- Able to promote pharmacy services

- Reliable and punctual

- Able to work under pressure and as a part of a team

- Motivated and hard working

- Understanding of confidential issues

- Able to answer telephone queries

Duties include:

- Stock control and management - ordering via a number of wholesalers, receiving and checking deliveries, reporting any discrepancies

- Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers

- Cash handling and till operation

- Answering the phone and taking bookings

- Keeping the store tidy and clean and following store procedures
