Full job description

We are looking for a trained and experienced pharmacy dispenser with an NVQ level 2 or 3 to join our highly motivated team.

Applicants should be highly motivated, pro-active and willing to work to a very high standard. Applicants should be prepared to work as individuals or within a small team.

The proposed shift pattern is Monday to Friday 8:45am - 6.00pm

The vacancy is for 41.25 hours on a permanent basis, however it is conditional upon successfully completing the probationary period.

As a qualified dispenser you will be responsible for assisting the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our patients and customers, with specific responsibility for providing support with the dispensing.

You must display skills in planning, your attention to detail must be impeccable and you MUST be able to work under pressure.

You must have competency using IT systems and software including Excel, You must have great people and communication skills, furthermore as you will be dealing with other healthcare professionals and patients on a daily basis, you must be able to critically assess and understand situations, records and conversations in order to resolve queries FIRST TIME if appropriate.

If successful, candidates could be entitled to the following:
