Full job description

We are inviting dispensers and technicians to the standards of the General Pharmaceutical Council to come and join us as Pharmacy Dispensers or Technicians at our branch in Moss Bank, which is part of the Hollowood Chemists group of 15 branches, located throughout the Northwest of England.

The Role

We are looking for dispensers or technicians, who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, dynamic and above all passionate about making a difference.

You will have responsibility to assist our pharmacists and teams to manage the community pharmacy so we provide a high-quality pharmacy service to our patients.

You will be someone willing to enhance the current services as well as develop new and innovative services.

Our pharmacies provide several services including flu vaccinations, emergency hormonal contraception, hypertension case-finding service, discharge medicines service, community pharmacist consultation service and of course NMS. We are looking to increase these even further soon to include travel vaccinations and a large range of private patient group directions. We also operate 5 NHS COVID vaccination centres, throughout the North West.

The Person

You will need you to have confidence, be a team player, be self-motivated, possess excellent customer care skills and have the ability to communicate well with our patients. Good IT skills will be essential too.
