Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC). This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a reputable pharmacy environment, providing essential support to pharmacists and delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, managing prescriptions, and assisting with medication administration, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Prior pharmacy technician experience and a strong commitment to patient safety are essential for this position.

Duties

  • Dispensing prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and legal requirements
  • Assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, labelling, and distribution
  • Managing patient medication records and maintaining precise documentation
  • Providing advice on over-the-counter products and medication usage to patients
  • Supporting medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring correct dosages and timings
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy environment
  • Participating in stock control, including ordering, receiving, and organising pharmaceutical supplies
  • Engaging in patient care activities by offering guidance on medication adherence and health management
  • Maintaining a clean, organised workspace adhering to infection control protocols
