Gill and Schofield at the Molineux Street Health Centre pharmacy are facing an exciting year. As pharmacy expands its role delivering high quality services to patients we require well qualified and motivated support staff. Both to support our excellent pharmacists and to train and deliver services themselves.

This is not a typical pharmacy. We use a robot to assemble MDS trays which means we do high numbers of prescription items with significant technological support reducing the monotony for our staff. Adjacent a walk in centre our staff see a higher percentage of ill people seeking their help and support.

The company is investing heavily in technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our service delivery. We are seeking good quality experienced staff to assist our endeavours, which includes dispensing some discharge medication for local hospital patients. We will also be delighted to hear from less experienced staff seeking a position working with experienced colleagues to broaden their skills and challenge their ambitions positively.

```Duties```
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions
- Prepare medication orders for patients and ensure proper labeling
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, restocking as needed
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal medication therapy

Assist in delivering dispensing services using automation.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including those related to medication storage, handling, and disposal

```Skills```
- NVQ2 or NVQ3 qualification in Dispensing or Pharmacy Services
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems for medication dispensing and inventory management
- Strong knowledge of medication administration techniques and patient care practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high level of multitasking

As new services are added to the pharmacy portfolio, where possible we would expect staff to train for and deliver those services.

Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed. Initially the successful candidate will assist staff using automation to dispense monitored dosage systems but will also be deployed within the pharmacy on other duties

Pay: £14.49-£15.50 per hour
