Full job description

About Us

We are a friendly, independent business based in Stoke-on-Trent, specialising in bespoke ceramic transfers and high-quality ceramic products. A major part of our work includes creating custom porcelain memorial photo plaques for stonemasons across the UK. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and a supportive, open-plan working environment.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Photo Editor to prepare customer images for production and kiln firing. You will be taking customer-supplied photos, retouching them using Adobe Photoshop, sending digital proofs to clients, and preparing images for specialised printing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and retouch customer photos according to specific instructions using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Crop, resize, and adapt photos to fit various plaque shapes and dimensions.
  • Perform colour balancing, background removal, and restoration work.
  • Adjust printer settings and colours to ensure accurate reproduction on ceramic transfers.
  • Email digital proofs to clients for approval and handle simple customer enquiries by phone and email.
  • Printing decals from the edited photos for application to porcelain plaques.
  • Other in-house tasks to fulfil orders.

What We Are Looking For

  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is essential.
  • High attention to detail and a keen eye for visual accuracy.
  • Clear, friendly email and telephone communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
  • Prior experience with image editing, print preparation, or digital artwork is a bonus, but enthusiasm and a strong eye for detail matter most.

Pay: From £13.11 per hour

Work Location: In person
