Good behind the camera? Confident in front of it? Full of ideas you’d love to bring to life?

We’re looking for a creative person to help showcase our properties and the people behind Higson Homes. From bright property photographs to engaging walkthroughs and TikToks, you’ll help us create content with personality.

About us

We’re an independent estate and letting agency based on Chanterlands Avenue in Hull. We take our work seriously, but we enjoy a laugh along the way. We’re looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Taking and editing interior and exterior property photographs.
  • Measuring properties and producing floor plans, with training available.
  • Filming and presenting property walkthroughs.
  • Creating TikToks, Instagram Reels and Facebook adverts.
  • Developing ideas for property tips, sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Editing videos, adding captions and writing engaging social media copy.
  • Working with our team to organise shoots and deliver content on time.

What we’re looking for

  • Photography skills and examples of your work.
  • Confidence speaking and presenting on camera.
  • Creativity and the ability to turn ideas into finished content.
  • Experience editing photographs and short videos.
  • Good organisation, reliability and attention to detail.
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle for property visits.
  • A positive, practical approach to work and a willingness to learn.

A positive outlook is a must

We like people who approach a task with “How can we make this work?” and bring solutions when something needs sorting. You should be comfortable receiving feedback, trying new ideas and supporting your colleagues.

You don’t have to arrive smiling like you’ve won the lottery every morning! We welcome questions and honest concerns—we simply ask that you raise them respectfully and constructively.

Hours and location

The role starts at 7.5 hours per week, with working times agreed around property appointments. You’ll visit properties across Hull and the surrounding areas and work with our Chanterlands Avenue team.

Property photography and floor-plan experience would be an advantage, but an estate agency background is not essential.
