Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Photographer to join the team.

We exhibit all around the country doing iris photography at county shows, weddings, corporate events and more. We are looking for someone that can drive and is excellent with interacting with people.

No Editing skills required, but having past experience with a camera is essential.

We are based in Whitstable but travel as far as Glasgow and as south as Cornwall so being able to be away from home for a few days at a time is necessary.

We have all the equipment supplied.

Duties

  • Assist the lead photographer during shoots, ensuring all equipment is set up and functioning properly.
  • Manage and organise photographic equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting gear.
  • Maintain an organised archive of images and assist in photo selection for client presentations.
  • Engage in social media management by posting images and updates on various platforms to enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the team on creative concepts and contribute ideas for upcoming projects.
  • Stay updated on photography trends and techniques to bring fresh perspectives to the work.

Experience

  • Proficiency in photography techniques and a strong understanding of photographic principles is preferred.
  • Experience in social media management and content creation is beneficial.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
