Full job description

We are currently hiring for a Multimedia Content Creator to join our client’s small marketing department at their office in Haverhill, Suffolk.

This is a permanent, full-time position working from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and is an office-based role.

The position would suit somebody who excels when it comes to creating slick, professional video and photography for use in marketing materials. It would be extremely advantageous if you have an interest in sport; specifically, golf.

The Company

Our client is a big, globally renowned player in their field. While the company itself isn’t a large workforce, they are an incredibly well-established business, firmly embedded in their markets. They have a hard-working, driven and down-to-earth team who, while serious about their work, also enjoy a laugh together, too.

The RoleBased at the manufacturing facility in Haverhill, you will work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Executive to bring the brand story to life through high-quality visual and multimedia assets.

Responsibilities will involve:

  • In-House Videography & Photography: Capture, shoot, and edit high-quality photo and video content in-house. This includes capturing product demonstrations, factory footage, team interviews, and case studies at local venues.
  • Graphic Design: Design and produce eye-catching marketing materials including brochures, presentations, digital banners, print adverts, and event signage.
  • Social Media Asset Management: Create, package, and optimize multimedia assets (images, short-form reels, graphics) for our official channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to support scheduling and audience engagement.
  • Agency & Project Briefing: Act as the creative lead when scaling up. Support the Marketing Executive by drafting clear, detailed creative briefs for external agencies and production teams on larger-scale videography and photography projects, ensuring seamless vendor alignment.
  • Brand Compliance: Ensure all newly created visual and written assets adhere strictly to company brand guidelines and legal regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (typically 1–3 years) in a graphic design, videography, or multimedia content creation role.
  • Strong proficiency with graphic design software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro/After Effects) and Canva.
  • Confident operating DSLR cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment for professional in-house shoots.
  • Proven ability to write creative briefs and collaborate with/coordinate external agencies or production teams.
  • Familiarity with formatting and optimising video/photo content for main social media platforms.
  • Ideally, a degree in Graphic Design, Filmmaking/Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • A genuine interest in sport (preferably golf)
  • A strong creative flair and visual problem-solving abilities.
  • Practical, hands-on experience with camera equipment and video editing software.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • The drive to make a visible impact on a brand’s presence.
  • A diverse portfolio demonstrating graphic design, photography, and video work.
  • Driving licence and own vehicle for the occasional site based shoot (a handful each year)

In Return Our client is offering a salary in the region of £35,000 per annum depending on relevant skills, experience and qualifications. They offer 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) and the chance to work in a fun, professional, busy commercial environment which caters to the sporting industry. There will also be ample opportunities for further professional development. How to Apply

Please apply to Kate Howes through our website or alternatively, you can email a copy of your CV to kate@horizoneast.co.uk

We aim to respond with specific feedback to every applicant via email within 14 days. However, as we are a small two-person independent agency, if we are extremely busy this may take longer. If you would like feedback sooner, then feel free to contact us via email and we will come back to you ASAP.

Pay: £35,000.00 per year

Application question(s):

  • Are you happy to be based in the Haverhill office 5 days per week?
  • Do you currently live within a reasonably commutable distance from Haverhill?
  • Are you confident using DSLR cameras, lighting setups and audio equipment?
  • Do you have an interest in golfing or sports in general? Please expand if so.
