Content Producer & VideographerKings of Diamonds | Hatton Garden, London
Full Time | £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
About Us
Kings of Diamonds is a luxury jewellery brand based in Hatton Garden, London, operating one of the largest jewellery workshops in the UK.
We specialise in bespoke engagement rings and fine jewellery, documenting the journey behind every piece through cinematic storytelling content across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
Our content has generated millions of views and we are now looking for a Content Producer & Videographer to help build the next stage of our content operation.
The Role
This is not a traditional videography role.
We are not looking for somebody to simply film jewellery or create promotional advertisements.
Our content focuses on documenting the journey of our company, our customers, our workshop, our challenges, our successes and the stories behind the pieces we create.
You will work directly alongside the founder to develop engaging storylines, content ideas and production plans for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and website content.
Storytelling is significantly more important to us than advanced editing techniques.
The ideal candidate understands how to create emotional engagement, build anticipation, improve audience retention and keep viewers invested throughout an entire video.
You will be responsible for filming content, editing all short form content in house, helping structure long form YouTube videos, managing content systems and ensuring consistent content output across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Film high-quality content using Sony A7IV cameras and professional lighting equipment
- Edit all short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Work directly with the founder to develop storylines, concepts and content ideas
- Help structure and plan engaging long form YouTube videos
- Organise footage and communicate effectively with our external long form editor
- Leave detailed timeline notes, story instructions and editing guidance within projects
- Coordinate filming schedules with workshop staff
- Capture content throughout the jewellery making process
- Produce content for product pages, website assets and marketing campaigns
- Ensure content is consistently filmed, organised and published every week
- Maintain and update our internal content production system
- Manage content calendars and production schedules
- Source locations, actors, props and production requirements when required
- Plan and allocate production budgets effectively
- Maximise company resources and production budgets to achieve the greatest possible output from each video
- Repurpose content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and website channels
- Maintain a consistent luxury brand image across all content
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who understands:
- Storytelling
- Audience retention
- Emotional engagement
- Sound design
- Pacing
- Viewer psychology
- Long form YouTube content
We care far more about your ability to make viewers care about a story than your ability to create flashy edits or transitions.
A strong understanding of pacing and sound design is essential, as these are a core part of our content style.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of videography, content production or content creation experience
- Proven experience creating high engaging YouTube content
- Strong understanding of YouTube retention and audience engagement
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts
- Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling-focused content
- Excellent understanding of sound design and pacing
- Strong working knowledge of Final Cut Pro (essential)
- Basic to intermediate Adobe Premiere Pro experience
- Experience organising projects and collaborating with external editors
- Ability to communicate editing instructions clearly through timelines, notes and project organisation
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Ability to manage production budgets and maximise available resources
- Comfortable working within a fast paced workshop environment
- Self motivated and capable of taking ownership of projects
Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
Important
This role is not suitable for applicants currently operating a freelance videography, editing or content agency business.
We are looking for a long term team member who wants to become part of the company and help build our content operation over the coming years.
Applicants actively pursuing freelance work alongside this position may not be considered.
On-site in Hatton Garden, London.
Salary
£35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Dependent on experience, portfolio and suitability.
Trial Process
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a paid trial project to ensure there is a strong creative and cultural fit.
Why Join Us?
- Work directly alongside the founder on content strategy and storytelling
- Help build a YouTube channel from the ground up
- Work within one of London's largest jewellery workshops (28+ team members)
- Professional camera, lighting and editing equipment provided
- Millions of existing views across social media platforms
- Significant creative input into the future direction of our content
- Opportunity to become a key member of a growing in-house media department
- Create meaningful, story-driven content rather than repetitive commercial advertisements
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

There is no right or wrong answer. We are interested in understanding how you think about content creation, audience engagement and viewer retention.
- Please describe your experience using Sony mirrorless cameras (such as the Sony a7 IV, a7 III, or a7R V) in Manual Mode, and your proficiency with Final Cut Pro.
In your answer, please also explain your experience with:
- Colour grading
- Sound design

- If you were given raw footage, a voiceover and a script, what would be the first thing you focus on before starting the edit?
