Full job description
NGM Services Ltd has been established in the Specialised Car Transportationindustry for over 20 years, working for major motor manufacturers.
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Car Wrangler / Photographic Shoot Support worker with HGV Licence to join our small friendly team, based near Silverstone, operating mainly the UK, with occasional work in Europe or further afield.
The car wrangler is responsible for managing the logistics of getting the cars to and from the set, ensuring they arrive on time and in the right condition. This may involve coordinating transport, working with drivers and production to ensure that the cars are operated safely and efficiently, and handling any issues that arise during the shoot. The car wrangler is also responsible for making sure that the cars are prepared for filming, which may involve making modifications for the installation of cameras or other equipment, and ensuring that the cars are clean and well-maintained, moving cars on set / location before/after takes and returning vehicles to their exact starting positions.
Job: The role will include:
- Providing technical / valeting and driving support for promotional photography on location / in Studio, as and when required.
- Preparing vehicles for display / shoot purposes.
- Delivering vehicles to location and presenting them with an attention to detail that is ‘second to none’.
- General maintenance and care of our vehicles to ensure they are always clean and roadworthy.
- Various other duties will be required around our premises as the need arises.
We are looking for someone to become an integral part of our small team, someone that can provide solutions to problems, and the ability to follow it through.
This role will suit a reliable, conscientious, team player who:
- Is flexible and able to accommodate the unpredictable nature of the work, (including unusual hours, sometimes long days, several weekends throughout the year and some periods away from home). In addition, there will be a requirement for some European Driving.
- Has the ability to work on their own initiative, keeping the highest standards and pride in their work.
- Has a proactive attitude to daily tasks
- Is well presented with good communication skills and the ability to deal with Clients.
Other requirements that would be an advantage for this role:
- Clean HGV C+E Licence and up to date CPC
- Some mechanical knowledge / DIY skills
Work Location: In person
