Join Harper Tait Fine Jewellery

Harper Tait Fine Jewellery is one of Hatton Garden's leading bespoke jewellers, specialising in beautifully crafted engagement rings, wedding rings and bespoke jewellery.

We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional, appointment-led experience where every client receives honest advice, outstanding craftsmanship and a level of service that is rarely found in traditional jewellery retail.

We're now looking for an enthusiastic, personable and ambitious Sales Consultant to join our growing team at our newly renovated Hatton Garden showroom.

About the Role

This is not a traditional retail sales position.

Our consultations are relaxed, informative and completely tailored to each client. You'll guide couples and individuals through one of the most important purchases they'll ever make, helping them understand diamonds, gemstones and bespoke design while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You'll work closely with our design team, managing enquiries from initial contact through to final collection and ongoing aftercare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct private client consultations in our appointment-only showroom.
  • Build genuine relationships with clients and guide them through the bespoke design process.
  • Respond to email, phone and online enquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Manage client orders from enquiry through to completion.
  • Follow up with prospective clients and nurture existing relationships.
  • Assist with wedding ring appointments and engagement ring consultations.
  • Maintain excellent CRM records and client communication.
  • Support showroom presentation and ensure every client receives a five-star experience.
  • Occasionally assist with social media content and client photography.

About You

This role is suited to someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships and providing an exceptional luxury retail experience.

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' jewellery sales experience.
  • Must be available to work Saturdays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A consultative, relationship-led sales approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and confident manner.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Good computer literacy and confidence using CRM systems.
  • A genuine passion for fine jewellery, diamonds and exceptional customer service.

What We Offer

  • £35,000–£42,000 DOE + Performance Bonus + Company Pension
  • Full diamond and bespoke jewellery training.
  • Opportunity to work with one of Hatton Garden's highest-rated independent jewellers.
  • Beautiful newly renovated showroom in the heart of Hatton Garden.
  • Friendly, supportive team environment.
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression as the business continues to grow.

Why Harper Tait?

Buying an engagement ring or wedding ring should be an unforgettable experience, and we're proud to offer a level of service that sets us apart.

If you're an experienced jewellery professional who is passionate about luxury retail and wants to be part of an ambitious, growing business, we'd love to hear from you.

Please apply with your CV and a short cover letter explaining why you'd be a great fit for Harper Tait Fine Jewellery.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
