Live Stream Presenter & Social Media Apprentice

Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketing Apprenticeship

Reports to: Club Manager / Marketing Lead

About the role

Fancy being the face and voice behind a growing online brand? This is a rare apprenticeship where you'll spend real time in front of the camera — hosting live sales, presenting products, and building an audience — not just scheduling posts behind the scenes.

We're a welcoming, progressive golf club growing our online presence and retail offering, and we're looking for a confident, camera-comfortable apprentice to help lead our content and live selling on platforms like Whatnot, TikTok and Instagram.

What you'll be doing

Live Streaming & Presenting (core focus)

• Host and present live sales on the Whatnot marketplace, talking through golf clubs, bags, balls, clothing and accessories on camera
• Build confidence engaging a live audience in real time — answering questions, driving bids, and keeping viewers entertained
• Present short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Develop your on-camera presenting style with support and coaching from the team
• Plan live show run-throughs and product line-ups ahead of each stream

Content Creation

• Shoot photos and video of golf equipment, apparel and club facilities
• Write engaging product descriptions and promotional copy
• Come up with fresh content ideas to grow our online audience
• Keep an eye on social trends and suggest new formats to try

Digital Marketing

• Help plan and build out marketing campaigns
• Create graphics and posts for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
• Support email marketing campaigns and newsletters
• Keep the club website updated with fresh content

E-commerce Support

• List golf clubs, bags, balls, clothing and accessories on Whatnot
• Research equipment specs and current market values
• Keep product inventory organised and prep items for live sales and shipping
• Handle customer messages relating to online sales

Administration

• Help pull together marketing reports and campaign tracking
• Support with organising club events and promotions
• Keep digital files and marketing assets organised

What we're looking for

• Confident and comfortable on camera — this is the biggest requirement for this role
• Passionate about social media, content and digital marketing
• Interested in golf (experience helpful but not essential)
• Creative eye for photography and video
• Organised, with good attention to detail
• Strong written English and clear communicator
• Reliable, proactive, and happy working solo or as part of a team

Nice to have

• Any experience presenting, streaming, vlogging or on-camera work (even informal — YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, etc.)
• Canva or similar design software
• Basic photo/video editing skills
• Familiarity with online marketplaces or live-selling platforms
• Interest in golf equipment and brands
