Location: London E1 8PY (Office-Based)
Duration: 3 Months
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)

FCF Academy is recruiting on behalf of one of our partner organisations for an exciting Fashion Production & Merchandising Internship based in London.

Our partner is an established fashion supplier that works with some of the UK's most recognised high-street and fast-fashion retailers, helping bring trend-led collections from concept through to production and delivery.

This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience within a fast-paced commercial fashion environment while learning directly from experienced industry professionals.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of the team, you'll gain exposure to multiple areas of the fashion business, including:

  • Steaming garments and preparing samples
  • Organising clothing samples and maintaining storage areas
  • Supporting showroom and office presentation
  • Researching fashion trends, competitors, and new product launches
  • Creating trend reports and presentations
  • Working with Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Assisting with sample returns and sample management
  • Supporting fabric and trim sourcing activities
  • Creating fabric boards and presentation materials
  • Preparing samples for customer meetings and fittings
  • Fabric swatching and garment preparation
  • Opening and distributing deliveries across departments
  • Assisting production and development teams with sample tracking
  • Supporting urgent deliveries when required
  • General office and administrative support

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for enthusiastic, proactive individuals who:

✅ Enjoy working in a busy and creative environment
✅ Are eager to learn and gain practical industry experience
✅ Have basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)

Students and graduates from Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Retail, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
