Full job description

About VannyCampers

We're the original campervan competition company, giving people the chance to win premium, fully converted campervans through live-streamed prize draws on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Since 2020 we've given away 100+ campervans and over £1.2M in cash prizes, and built a community of more than 250,000 followers along the way. Video is at the heart of everything we do, and we're growing fast.

The internship

This is a paid videography and editing internship running from July to September 2026, based on-site with our in-house team in Bristol. The role is either 3 or 5 days a week, agreed with the successful candidate based on their skills, their availability and how quickly they get up to speed. You'll get hands-on across our content output, shooting and editing short-form built first and foremost for Instagram Reels, plus TikTok and YouTube Shorts, and you'll play a big part in growing our long-form content on YouTube. We're after a real ideas person with a big personality who isn't afraid to hop on camera. It's a fast-paced role with genuine creative input from day one, and there's the potential to stay on in a longer-term role for the right person.

What you'll be doing

- Shooting and editing short-form (9:16) content, with Instagram Reels as our main focus, plus TikTok and YouTube Shorts

- Helping create and grow our long-form (16:9) content on YouTube, from filming through to the edit

- Filming camper vans, promotional content, behind-the-scenes and lifestyle footage

- Operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras, GoPros and gimbals on shoot days

- Editing in DaVinci Resolve, including assembly, sound, captions and clean exports

- Data wrangling: organising, sorting and backing up footage, and keeping project files structured on the shared drive

- Helping out on live draw production and shoot days

- Bringing new content ideas and formats to the table. We want your eye, not just your hands

- Hopping on camera to present when it suits. We love a big personality

What we're looking for

You don't need years of experience, but ideally you'll already have:

- Some hands-on experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, so you know your way around manual settings

- Confidence in DaVinci Resolve, or the drive to get up to speed with it quickly

- Experience shooting with GoPros (a real plus)

- A naturally organised approach to files, so footage stays named, sorted and backed up

- To be based in Bristol and able to work on-site

- A big personality and a natural ideas person, comfortable both behind and in front of the camera and happy to hop on and present

- Loads of energy. You're proactive, creative and easy to work with

Bonus points

- Drone experience

- Gimbal or stabiliser work

- Live streaming or multi-cam setups

- A feel for colour grading

- An interest in vehicles, van life, content creation or social media

What you'll get

- Real, hands-on experience at an exciting, fast-growing brand

- The chance to contribute to high-output, real-world content from day one

- Experience across shoots, edits and creative planning

- Portfolio-ready work with genuine creative input

- A relaxed, fast-paced and collaborative working environment

- Paid at National Living Wage

- The potential to stay on in a longer-term role for the right person

How to apply

We'd love to see what you can do, so alongside your CV, please send us a short video showing your skills. It's the part we're most excited to watch.

Your video submission: a 1 to 2 minute 9:16 video showcasing your skills, approached as a short promotional advert for your chosen subject. It should:

- Feature a car, bike, skateboard or similar subject

- Present the subject as if you're promoting it

- Include a clear idea or narrative, not just a montage

- Demonstrate your videography, editing and creative decision-making

- Include presenting to camera if you're comfortable (encouraged, not required)

Most importantly, make it fun. Take creative risks. Don't hold back.

Send your CV and video, plus your contact details, to: video@vannycampers.co.uk
