Full job description

Digital Content Designer (Email, Social & Motion)

Based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex (near Brighton)

The Role

We’re looking for a designer with a strong eye for content, motion and brand storytelling to join our in-house Creative Team.

A newly created role, reflecting the growing importance of social, motion and digital content across both brands — and an opportunity to help shape what that looks like as we continue to evolve our creative output.

This is a varied, hands-on role spanning digital campaign design, email creative, social-first content and short-form video editing across WoolOvers and PURE Collection. You'll work across the full customer journey, from email and onsite campaigns through to paid social assets, organic content and reels, helping bring both brands to life in a way that feels engaging, fresh and distinctly on brand.

The ideal candidate will understand that today's digital landscape is increasingly motion-led, platform-aware and performance-focused, and be able to combine strong design fundamentals with an instinct for what works across social and ecommerce.

Reporting into the Design Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with Creative, Digital Marketing, Ecommerce and Social teams to deliver content that is both creatively strong and results driven.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Digital Design

· Creating campaign assets across email, ecommerce, paid social, web and onsite channels

· Designing visually engaging email assets and templates with an understanding of responsive design and email deployment best practice

· Supporting digital launches, seasonal campaigns, promotions and brand storytelling initiatives

· Creating and adapting assets for testing, optimisation and performance across digital channels

· Maintaining strong visual consistency across all digital touchpoints while adapting content appropriately for different audiences and platforms

· Balancing creativity with commercial performance, designing with both brand and conversion goals in mind

Social Content & Motion

· Editing and producing short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest

· Creating motion graphics, animated assets, and social-first content that feels native to each platform

· Repurposing campaign photography and video into engaging multi-platform content

· Supporting paid and organic social activity with platform-optimised creative

· Bringing forward ideas for new content formats, trends, editing styles, and creative approaches

· Using AI-assisted creative tools and emerging technologies to support ideation, content adaptation and workflow efficiency

Collaboration & Workflow

· Working closely with Creative, Ecommerce and Marketing teams to deliver campaigns on time and to brief

· Collaborating with Digital Marketing to understand content performance and apply learnings to future creative

· Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced ecommerce environment

· Supporting the wider Creative Team during peak campaign periods where needed

What We’re Looking For

· 2–4 years’ experience in a digital, content, or motion design role, ideally within fashion, retail, lifestyle or ecommerce

· Strong portfolio demonstrating digital campaign work, social content and motion/video editing

· High proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud; particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut Pro

· Figma experience highly desirable

· Strong understanding of social-first editing styles and current platform trends

· Experience creating content for both organic and paid social channels

· Understanding of ecommerce and conversion-focused creative

· Comfortable working across static design, motion, and video editing depending
on project needs

· Highly organised, collaborative, and able to manage multiple deadlines with a proactive mindset and a willingness to contribute ideas

· Interest in fashion, lifestyle, sustainability, or premium consumer brands would be advantageous

A portfolio is required and should include examples of:

· Digital campaign design

· Email creative

· Social-first content

· Motion graphics and/or short-form video editing
