Gaming, Media & Digital Skills Tutor – Post-16 Alternative Provision - Nuneaton
Term-Time Only | Full or Part Time

Supporting young people with SEND and SEMH needs through gaming, media, music, photography and creative digital technologies. Inspire futures through creativity, technology and the things young people love.

This is a term time role working with Post-16 students in an alternative provision. £25,070 - £31,040 (Actual Salary based on qualifications & experience).

The Dare2Dream Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Gaming, Media & Digital Skills Tutor to design and deliver engaging learning programmes for young people aged 16–25 with SEND, SEMH needs and barriers to education. This is a fantastic opportunity to use gaming, digital media, photography, film-making, music production, content creation and emerging technologies to re-engage learners, build confidence and develop the skills they need for adulthood, employment and further education.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver inspiring and engaging sessions in gaming, media and creative digital technologies
• Create project-based learning opportunities tailored to individual learner interests and aspirations
• Support young people to develop confidence, communication, employability and independent living skills
• Use gaming, media, music, photography and digital content creation as tools for engagement and learning
• Monitor learner progress and celebrate achievements
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and external professionals to ensure positive outcomes

About You:

• Passionate about supporting young people with SEND and SEMH needs
• Experience in teaching, training, mentoring, coaching or youth work
• Creative, innovative and able to build positive relationships with young people
• Confident delivering engaging, practical and project-based learning experiences
• Level 3 qualification or relevant industry experience
• A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential

We would love to hear from people with experience in:

• Games design, game development or esports
• Media production, content creation or digital marketing
• Photography, videography or film production
• Music production, recording, songwriting or audio engineering
• Creative arts, animation or digital design
• Creating engaging, project-based learning experiences
• Supporting young people to overcome barriers and achieve their potential

Skills and experience that would be highly desirable:

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Canva and digital design tools
• Photography and videography
• Podcasting, audio production or music technology
• Animation and motion graphics
• Coding, games design or creative technologies
• Social media and content creation

Salary: £25,070 - £28,318 per annum (Unqualified)/ £29,204 - £31,040 per annum (Qualified)
