LEVEL 3 APPRENTICE – FOOTBALL DIGITAL MARKETING & E-COMMERCE

LOCATION: Swarkestone, Derbyshire
PAY: £8 - £10 an hour (dependant on experience)
HOURS: Full-time apprenticeship
JOB TYPE: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Please note that applicants who already hold a Level 3 or higher qualification in marketing, or who have extensive previous experience in a marketing-related role, may not be eligible for this apprenticeship.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our client is looking for a Digital Marketing & E-commerce Apprentice to join their growing startup business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about football, digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, and technology. You will gain hands-on experience working directly alongside the company directors, helping to grow an innovative online marketplace focused on authentic football shirts.

Unlike larger businesses, you'll be involved in multiple areas of the company, gaining first-hand experience of how a digital startup is launched, operated, and scaled. This role combines digital marketing, content creation, AI technology, marketplace operations, customer experience, and e-commerce administration.

A genuine passion for football is essential for this role.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Managing and creating content for TikTok, Instagram, X, and other social channels
• Producing football-related content, videos, and marketing campaigns
• Supporting email marketing and customer engagement activity
• Researching football shirts, clubs, players, and market trends
• Creating and maintaining product listings
• Photographing products and preparing marketplace content
• Supporting SEO and website growth
• Using AI tools to support marketing, content creation, and research
• Assisting with customer enquiries, orders, and marketplace administration
• Monitoring marketing performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

ESSENTIAL

• A genuine football fan with strong football knowledge
• Passionate about digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, or technology
• Interested in AI and emerging technologies
• Creative and willing to contribute ideas
• Strong communication skills
• Organised and detail-oriented
• Comfortable learning new systems and software
• Happy working in a small startup environment

DESIRABLE

• Interest in football shirts and football memorabilia
• Experience creating social media content
• Photography or video editing skills
• Interest in e-commerce or online marketplaces

You do not need previous professional marketing experience.

We're interested in your genuine interest in marketing and your potential to develop.

If you've created social media content, run a social media account, used Canva, helped promote something online, created content as a hobby or completed a marketing-related project at school/college, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
