Full job description

Wanted: E-commerce Creative Specialist (Photography & Design)

At rucomfy beanbags, we pride ourselves on comfort, quality, and style. We are looking for a creative powerhouse to take ownership of our visual content for our product listings. Your mission is simple but vital: make our beanbags and soft furnishings look so comfortable and stylish that customers can’t help but click "Add to Basket."

You will be the bridge between a raw product and a high-converting listing, handling everything from the physical photoshoot to the final product listing images on our website and marketplaces.

Your Responsibilities

  • Product Photography: Lead studio and lifestyle shoots for our beanbags and accessories. You’ll be responsible for styling (fluffing those beanbags!), lighting, and capturing the texture of our fabrics.
  • Post-Production: Professional retouching and colour correction to ensure "what they see is what they get." You’ll ensure fabrics look vibrant and true-to-life.
  • Asset Creation: Design high-impact website banners and homepage hero images that drive seasonal campaigns and product launches.
  • Storefront Management: Curate and design visual layouts for our brand storefronts across various platforms (Amazon, eBay, etc.), ensuring a premium and consistent brand experience.
  • Listing Optimisation: Create "Enhanced Brand Content" (infographics, size charts, and feature call-outs) to make our product listings the best in the industry.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Finding new ways to showcase the scale, comfort, and versatility of our products through visual storytelling.

What We’re Looking For

  • Portfolio: A strong body of work showing product photography and clean, modern graphic design.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • E-commerce Mindset: You understand that a photo isn't just art, it’s a sales tool. You know how to use text and layout to highlight product benefits.
  • Attention to Detail: You’re the person who notices a stray thread or a wrinkled fabric in a shot and fixes it before it hits the site.
  • Self-Starter: You’re comfortable managing your own shoot schedule and hitting deadlines for promotional launches.

Why Join rucomfy?

This is a unique opportunity to see your work live on a leading UK retail site. You’ll have the creative freedom to shape how our products are perceived by hundreds of thousands of customers.

Ditch the Formalities

We value skills over templates. Along with your CV, please send over a portfolio that showcases your photography and design work. We’re particularly interested in seeing how you've improved product listings in the past. If you really want to stand out, send a short video or a graphic concept explaining how you’d make a rucomfy beanbag look like a "must-have" for a modern home.
