About the Role

Footprint Group is looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team and play a key role in the design and production of our Forget Me Not magazine publications.

This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who is passionate about creating adverts for clients and editorial design. You’ll work across print and digital content, bringing articles, features, and advertising to life through engaging, high-quality layouts.

You’ll be involved throughout the creative process, from developing initial concepts and page layouts through to preparing final artwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce engaging layouts for client adverts, magazine features, editorial content and covers and supplements
• Work closely with the editorial team to translate written content into compelling visuals
• Develop creative concepts and maintain a consistent visual identity across publications.
• Select and work with photography, illustrations, typography and other visual assets.
• Prepare artwork to a high standard for print publications
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with the production and sales team

Ensure all work meets brand guidelines and maintains a high level of visual consistency.

• Keep up to date with current trends in editorial, graphic and digital design.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is creative, organised and highly detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in magazine and editorial design.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in graphic design, preferably within a magazine, publishing, media or agency environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating editorial and layout design.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and Canva.
• A strong understanding of typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.
• Excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of print production and artwork specifications.
• The ability to manage your own workload and work to tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive approach, with the confidence to contribute creative ideas and solutions.
