Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Freelance Video Editor to bring creative visions to life through compelling visual storytelling. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and clients to produce high-quality videos that engage and inspire audiences. Your expertise in editing, motion graphics, and visual effects will be essential in crafting polished content across various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into engaging videos that align with project goals and brand standards
  • Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design using industry-standard software
  • Collaborate closely with team members to understand project requirements and deliver on deadlines
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output
  • Apply colour correction, audio balancing, and visual enhancements to ensure professional-grade results
  • Stay updated on the latest editing techniques and software updates within the Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro
  • Organize and archive project files systematically for easy access and future revisions

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
  • Skilled in photography principles to enhance visual storytelling
  • Familiarity with video editing workflows, color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creative innovation
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is essential; experience with other editing tools is a plus
