Full job description

Dragons’ Den-backed brand Tru-Tension is looking for a video-first Content Creator to help grow our social presence and shape how we show up online.

This role is perfect for someone early in their career (or straight out of education) who lives and breathes content. You’re always filming, editing, posting, and spotting trends before everyone else. You don’t just watch content you understand why it works.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, creative role where you’ll be responsible for shooting, editing, and managing content across our social channels for cycling and motorcycle.

You’ll create everything from:

  • Short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
  • Behind-the-scenes and day-in-the-life content
  • Product demos and tutorials
  • Longer-form YouTube-style videos
  • Photography for social and ecommerce

You’ll be turning real moments in the studio, workshops, on rides, with riders and mechanics into engaging, scroll-stopping content.

What We’re Looking For

You’re someone who:

  • Is passionate about creating content and spends time on social platforms daily
  • Has a strong instinct for what performs well online
  • Loves filming and editing, especially for mobile-first content
  • Is confident using tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci, or similar
  • Understands how to hook attention quickly and keep people watching
  • Can take an idea from concept → shoot → edit → post
  • Is proactive, always thinking of the next idea, not waiting to be told
  • Has an eye for visuals, framing, and storytelling
  • Is excited by the idea of growing a brand’s social presence

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Shooting and editing daily social content
  • Managing and posting across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Keeping up with trends, formats, and platform changes
  • Helping grow engagement and followers
  • Creating content that feels authentic, not overly polished or corporate
  • Working closely with the marketing team on campaigns and launches
  • Filming with riders, ambassadors, and real customers
  • Capturing both video and photography

Bonus (Not Essential)

  • Interest in cycling, motorcycles, or motorsport
  • Experience running your own social channels or creating content consistently

Why This Role

  • Perfect for someone starting their career in content creation
  • Real opportunity to build a brand’s social presence
  • Freedom to bring your own ideas and creativity
  • Work in a fast-growing, ambitious brand backed by Dragons’ Den

If you’re the kind of person who’s always thinking “this would make a great video” we want to hear from you.

Location & Flexibility: Tru-Tension’s headquarters are in Backwell just outside of Bristol, UK. This role is primarily office-based, with flexibility for hybrid work depending on experience and location.

If you’re ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
