Full job description
We are seeking university students to join our dynamic team for our busy graduation season in July 2027. You must be a university student currently studying at an Exeter university or have graduated in 2026. Please do not apply if this criteria does not apply to you. You could be working at a graduation event in any town or city in the UK that is allocated to you if you are successful during July 2027 as we work with over eighty universities nationwide. The ideal candidates will be responsible for capturing high-quality images across the country at graduation events. To be suitable for this role you must be over eighteen years of age and you must be a student at a university in Exeter. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about photography and is a chance for students to showcase their skills whilst gaining experience in a professional environment. Candidates will be expected to attend two days full training. Not all candidates who attend the training days will be successful in securing the role. The training is paid at an hourly rate of £12.72. If you are successful in securing the commercial photography role you will be paid a daily rate of £150 per day plus expenses including a food allowance, travel and accommodation. You must be willing to travel and stay away from home.
Responsibilities
You must be available to work at graduations in July 2027
Be able to attend graduation events throughout the UK, staying away from home, including evenings and weekends (expenses paid)
You will be setting up a studio and taking high quality photographs of graduates during graduation events
You will be expected to work with Tempest team members to ensure photography during graduation events runs as smoothly as possible, whilst providing excellent customer service to clients, graduates and their families
Be able to work quickly and efficiently
Maintain a professional appearance at all times
Adhere to a schedule, arrive on time and stay for the duration of the event that has been assigned to you
